Severe Weather in Tuscaloosa County

Tuscaloosa County is currently experiencing very severe weather. Conditions include heavy rainfall, high winds, and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. Please do not go outside or drive until this weather condition has passed. If you must drive, please turn on your hazard lights as visibility can diminish rapidly.
This storm is moving slowly from the Northeast. Several new storms are popping up across the map so please pay attention to your current location and take proper precaution. UAMS advises that you stay inside of an enclosed structure until the storms have passed. If you can hear thunder, then you CAN be struck by lightning. Stay safe and let's hope that this helps break the Heat Wave.
