Nice Weather Today, Change Tomorrow

What a nice afternoon yesterday. Today you can expect similar conditions with a high of 75*F. Tomorrow brings change. We are currently monitoring a system to our west that has the potential to spin up some tornadoes here and there. However, the system will weaken significantly by the time it makes its way into West Alabama due to lack of support aloft. You can expect some spotty showers tomorrow, but nothing severe. You can expect a high near 70*F tomorrow. Thursday and Friday will be noticeably colder. The highs will barely make it to the mid 50's with a lows in the 30's. Frost advisories may be issued, so plan accordingly. Thursday the skies will be clearing behind the system coming through. Friday you can expect clear skies. A chilly North breeze will blow through here both days. Saturday morning will be cold with another freeze likely, but we warm up slowly over the weekend with a good supply of sunshine Saturday and Sunday. We are expecting mid 60s Saturday, followed by upper 60s Sunday.

Next week you can expect a shower or two Monday or Tuesday with models supporting the best chance of beneficial rain coming Wednesday. There has been some talk within the group of a potential severe weather event next week, but models don't seem to support that thought at this time. As we mover further towards next week, we'll have a better idea of what to expect.

THE RUNDOWN
Nice weather today. Rain tomorrow. Thursday and Friday will be COLD. Frost/Freeze Advisories may be issued Thursday or Friday. Nice weekend on tap. Next week could be wet early on.
